Can I just say that I feel awesome!!!!! OK let me explain, I have always been the type to go after jobs I know I have the skills for...now I don't mean that in a way that I am being conceded I just mean that I know I have the skills to become an assistant manager or even manager but I would always go for cashier because I know that I would get it...Hopefully this makes sense..lol..and I would never even try for a major job because I am a self doubter,always have been...but I did something crazy nuts for me lol I applied to a job on thursday that is a major major job...not even really a job but a Career and its almost like a job where your questioning yourself and saying WOW I can get paid for this???...I know I would be great at it..I dont want to say to much about it because I have the whole might jinx it thing lol but I will say its the perfect job for me and who I am..Its based on Customer Service and anyone who knows me knows that I strive to be the best Customer Service Representative I can be,I live to help people in any way I can...and that if I could I would give my customers the world...meaning I would do a lot of giveaways on my Missi's Things page...but right now I just don't have the means...anyway this job does this and fits in with the way I am totally...(don't mind me if I veer off because I have the oh look a squirrel disease) lol anyway getting back to what this is supposed to be about...I applied for this job and something like clicked in me...like even though there are like 600 applicants a month right now for this job I don't feel put off by that for lack of a better word.
Stepping out of the box has given me the courage to apply for other jobs like this also...I feel so much better about myself,so much more confidence then I ever have before...I walk around my house like I already have this job and know that I might not get this but it has not stopped me...Just taking that major step and stepping out of the box so to speak has enlightened me so much!! As for this job I know I have what it takes to do and the company's values are basically how I live and feel everyday...not just to customers or to co workers but to people in general!!! I guess what I am trying to say is if you are reading this dont be afraid to step out of the box!!! Its taken me 40 yrs to do this and let me tell you it feels Amazing!!!!Who knows what will become of it but just never doubt yourself!! Because YOU ARE SO WORTH IT!!!! I might not say the right things when it comes to explaining to anyone about myself but just know that what I do say it always comes from the heart!!
